ANNA KRATOCHVIL

My name is Anna Kratochvil. I am a senior at Blue Valley West. I have spent my entire high school career very interested and passionate about digital photography, so film photography was a new challenge for me. Although I often find myself frustrated by my lack of control over the outcome of my photos in comparison to taking digital pictures, it has been fun learning new processes. I love being able to learn the traditional ways f photography before all of the advancements in technology. My favorite part of the entire process is putting my paper in the developer and watching images slowly appear before me. I often gravitate towards taking pictures of nature and other things in the outdoors but I also love to take the occasional portrait. Even though it is very tedious, I enjoy being able to have a physical copy of my favorite pictures when I am done.
